Communication During Stressful Times

Published on July 17, 2013 with No Comments

Communicating during a stressful period of time can sometimes cause hard feelings and lead to miscommunication between individuals.

Santa Rosa Medical Center will host its monthly Lunch and Learn educational program in the Locklin Educational Building located behind Santa Rosa Medical Center on Berryhill Rd. in Milton.

Mioshei Mobley, a community educator from Covent Hospice, will present “Communicating Effectively During Stressful Times.”

The presentation will address the importance of clear and effective communication during stressful situations, such as family illness, and teach basic communication skills that are easily forgotten during periods of stress. A soup and salad lunch will be served to all attendees.

The seminar and luncheon are free, but registration is requested. Please call Aleta Hoodless, director of volunteer services, at (850) 626-5113 with questions or to reserve your seat.

Santa Rosa Medical Center is a full service 129-bed modern hospital facility.  With nearly 400 associates, more than 100 volunteers and more than 100 physicians on staff, Santa Rosa Medical Center is well-equipped to meet all of your healthcare needs.
