Milton Panthers start work on future gridiron success

Published on July 11, 2013 with No Comments

Milton football’s program is building a bright future and that future got underway this week with the annual strength and conditioning camp.

Despite the start of the strength and conditioning camp registrations are still being taken for football and cheerleading.

Football and cheerleading at the Milton Community Center is designed for children ages 5 to 14. Ages for each season are based on your child’s age as of Aug. 1.

The purpose of the ongoing strength and conditioning camp is to help the football players get acclimated to the weather prior to the start of official football practice on July 31.

Registration for the football season is $100 and includes a trophy, jersey to keep, mouth piece as well as use of shoulder pads, helmet, seven piece pad set and game pants.

Registration for youth cheerleading is $85 and includes registration in the Milton High School Cheerleading Camp in August. Cheerleading registration does not include the cost of the uniform.

If you are interested in registering your future football or cheerleading star you can come to the Milton Community Center at 5629 Byrom St., Room 110 in Milton from 12:30 – 8 p.m.

Registrations will be ongoing until teams are full.
