Santa Rosa County and Milton will show their deep rooted patriotic pride on Nov. 11 with a full slate of activities in honor of Veteran’s Day.

During the ceremony the Veteran’s Day coloring contest winners will be announced and the keynote speaker will be Col. D. Wolfman Holzworth.

Following the ceremony there will be a Veteran’s Day cookout hosted by the Santa Rosa County 4-H.

On Saturday Nov. 15, The Santa Rosa County Fair Board will be working to assist veterans in Santa Rosa County with the Veteran’s 5K Run.

Registration is $25 per runner with a goodie bag and more after the race, which will end near the June Ates Arena.
