Milton Community Pumpkin Fest is a family friendly festival. A festival compiled of local agencies and businesses, games and events are organized for families to enjoy. A movie will be shown in the Imogene parking lot.

Organized by downtown business owners Deborah Becker, owner of Boomerang Pizza Kitchen on North Willing Street and Cindea Booth of Camelot Junction at the corner of Berryhill and Willing, both decided to put their heads together to make Pumpkin Fest 2016 even more of a success than last year’s event.

“Last year’s event was a surprising success. I hope this year will bring even more families out to enjoy the fun,” said Booth.

Becker said last year’s event brought more than 500 trick-or-treaters plus their parents to North Willing Street.

“We still need sponsors,” she said. “There are 3 ways a business or organization can be a sponsor to grow the event.

  1. Host a Trick or Treat Table
  2. Decorate with Blinkie lights
  3. Donate funds

Hosting a table is easy, said Becker. All that’s needed is a decorated table, a minimum of 10 bags of candy or more and a person manning the table. There will be a prize basket awarded to the best decorated table.

Blinkies are lights for small trees that randomly light up like fireflies. When you purchase a set for $35 from Camelot Junction or Boomerang Pizza Kitchen, $10 per set will go into buying more for the city of Milton.

Donations can help with decorations or even renting port-a-potties. Make checks to City of Milton CRA 1.

Sponsorship levels:

Jack-O-Lantern- Under $100

Bone Meister- $100-$500

Count and Countess- $500 and up.
