Basketball at Guy Thompson

Every time I hit the Court,

I focus on the prize.

Others underestimate my skill

and judge me by my size.

My speed is something like a blur –

an illusion in their eyes –

revealing all of my potential,

much to their surprise.

The dribble game is nothing nice

but once they reach, I got them

as you can’t leave me open.

The open shots I hit them.
