It’s fall, let the festivals begin

Published on September 26, 2017 with No Comments

Let the festivals begin! Autumn has arrived in Milton, although we may not feel the changing temps quite yet, the calendar announced it’s arrival last week. While many are cheering for their favorite teams this football season, some of us would rather bounce along on a hayride, sip cider and consume a piece of pumpkin pie. Roll Tide!

The 14th Annual Beaches to Woodlands Tour highlights many events and happenings in Santa Rosa County and while only a few are happening within our fair city, we’re in the process of adding many fall events to our calendar. Check it out! Don’t forget about Bands on the Blackwater’s fall line up, which kicked off this month on September 8. There’s still a few more bands to come.

While the stifling hot temps begin to fall, take the time to brush off the bike and hit the Blackwater Heritage Trail; hike Bear Lake or pack a picnic lunch and head north and enjoy a self driven tour of the county farmlands. The idea is to get outside and enjoy the fresh air. There’s always so much to do in Santa Rosa County and autumn is the best time to see it in its glory. Happy fall, y’all!
