Milton by Dani Martin

It sits on the bank of the

River, this small town with a

Big heart. Welcoming all with

Its southern warmth and grace.

A town who honors its fallen

With reverent pride, forever

Grateful. Our strength of love and

Community draws us

Together, filling the evening

Air with music. The laughter

Of children playing on her

Rivers grassy bank.

Flowing slowly the Blackwater

Sparkles with the splendor of

A thousand lights. Boats adorned

For Christmas sail pass in

Homage to the small town on

The river’s edge. We are a

Town of faith, hard working

And committed to this place

We call home. Our little town

On the river, with its big heart.
