Community Center Panthers enjoy successful Saturday on the gridiron

Week 5 for the Panthers of the Milton Community Center was an exciting day.

The Panthers won six of eight games and saw two of the contest go into overtime.

Posting wins on the day were the Milton Mighty Mites (12-6) in overtime, the Milton Mini Mites Gold (27-22), the Milton Mite Black (32-8), the Milton Midget Black (12-6), the Milton Midget Gold (1-0), and the Milton Juniors (38-14).

The Milton Gold Mites lost a heartbreaker in overtime 20-14, while the Milton Mini Mites Black fell 26-7.

The Community Center Panthers will enjoy a bye week on Oct. 5 as they prepare to host their cross county rivals, the Pace Patriots on Oct. 12.

The games will get underway at 8 a.m. with eight different divisions in action at the Milton Community Center football field, located at 5629 Byrom St. in Milton.
