Basketball registration is underway at the Milton Community Center

The City of Milton is now accepting signups for basketball for the following grades K-2, 3 and 4, 5 and 6, as well as 7 and 8.

Registration will continue through Dec. 6 or when the league reaches the maximum capacity of players.

The registration fee is $80 per child.

“We are excited about the upcoming season,” said Robert Arnold, the Recreation and Activities Coordinator with the City of Milton Parks and Recreation Department. “We have a great program developing with the City of Milton and are looking to build on what was started last year.

“This year we are trying to add an all girls league, but that is dependent on the numbers of girls who come out and sign up.”

Players will be selected to their respective teams by a draft process.Sign-ups are Monday—Friday from 12:30 —8 p.m. at The Milton Community Center.

Prior to the draft players will work out in a small skills program where the coaches will watch.

Practices will be begin the week of Dec. 16, with the season getting underway in January.

All games will be played at the Milton Community Center.
