Santa Rosa Chamber honors area leaders

The Rotary Club of Milton’s Linsey Williamson is seen working with a student during the “Purple Pinkie Project.” This project is to help raise funds to fight polio in third world countries.

The following were honored by the Santa Rosa County Chamber of Commerce:

Business of the Year – Blackwater Bistro

Industry of the Year – Gulf Power

Community Achievement – Rotary Club of Milton

Frank Gossett Ambassadorship Award – Jackie Ard

Community Leader of the Year – Dr. Karen Barber, Santa Rosa County School District

Volunteer of the Year – Albert Melvin, Boys and Girls Clubs of the Emerald Coast

Fred Hunter Spirit of Santa Rosa – Rufus Hayes, Hayes Farms

Emerging Leader of the Year – Rhett Fendley, Premier Wealth Management Partners

Hall of Fame – Ken Kincaid, State Farm Insurance

President’s Award – Interfaith Ministries, Inc.

Woman of the Year – Angie Brown, Take Stock in Children

Man of the Year – Rick Paschall, Ameriprise Financial Services, Inc.

At the end of the annual chamber banquet Jason Kimbrell with LifeGuard Ambulance Service assumed the leadership as President of the Santa Rosa Chamber.
