Santa Rosa Medical Center recognizes national donate life month

Published on April 23, 2014 with No Comments

Over 120,000 men, women, and children are awaiting organ transplants today nationally.
With that in mind Santa Rosa Medical Center partnered with LifeNet Health of Florida and LifeQuest Organ Recovery Services to raise a flag to urge individuals to “Donate Life” in front of the hospital on Berryhill Rd.
The “Donate Life” flag is being flown throughout April to help raise awareness of the many who are awaiting organ, eye, and tissue donations for transplants.
Last year alone over 28,000 transplants were made possible across the United States through organ donations.
The flag raising was held at Santa Rosa Medical Center in Milton on April 2 to honor organ donors, their recipients, and their families.
