Final concert of Bands on the Blackwater season set for Friday

Published on June 27, 2014 with No Comments

If you missed Bands on the Blackwater featuring the Chris Martin Band you missed an exciting night with yet another near record crowd.

Another near record crowd of over 2,000 people turned out for the concert on South Willing St. in historic downtown Milton and were treated to an awesome performance featuring a wide variety of music.

Dancers literally filled South Willing St. as they danced the night away.

This Friday (June 27) should be no different as Dewey Rose will take the stage at 6 p.m.

Dewey Rose performs everything from country, pop, funk, disco, rock, and blues. Dewey Rose brings a cultivation of professional talents, mix of music genres, and a power house singer to provide a very enjoyable musical experience for both young and old.

Spectators are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, blankets, and coolers as you can enjoy a wonderful evening along the Blackwater River in Historic Downtown Milton or pull up and anchor your boat and listen to the music while you are on the water.

Make sure to thank our sponsors for making these concerts possible.

This year Bands on the Blackwater is made possible through sponsorships from McKenzie Motors, Karen Welch with Synovus Mortgage Corp., Santa Rosa Medical Center, The Blackwater Pyrates, Pace Water System, ADX Communications, and Cumulus Media.
