If you missed Bands on the Blackwater featuring the Groovinators you missed an exciting night with yet another near record crowd.

Another near record crowd of over 2,000 people turned out for the concert on South Willing St. in historic downtown Milton and were treated to an awesome performance featuring a wide variety of music.

Dancers literally filled South Willing St. as they danced the night away.

This Friday (June 20) should be no different as the Chris Martin Band will take the stage at 6 p.m.

The Chris Martin Band is a contemporary country band where blue eyed soul meets a Nashville drawl. Chris has performed with the likes of Bo Bice, Charlie Daniels, and Lynyrd Skynyrd.

Spectators are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, blankets, and coolers as you can enjoy a wonderful evening along the Blackwater River in Historic Downtown Milton or pull up and anchor your boat and listen to the music while you are on the water.

Make sure to thank our sponsors for making these concerts possible.

This year Bands on the Blackwater is made possible through sponsorships from McKenzie Motors, Karen Welch with Synovus Mortgage Corp., Santa Rosa Medical Center, The Blackwater Pyrates, Pace Water System, ADX Communications, and Cumulus Media.

If you would like to help make these concerts possible next year contact Katie Nichols at 983-5466.
