U.S. 90 traffic on the Marquis Bayou Bridge in Milton will be shifted to the newly constructed temporary bridge Saturday, June 21. Shifting traffic onto the temporary bridge will allow construction crews to build the new structure.
The traffic shift will be in place until the new bridge is completed in spring 2015. The speed limit on the temporary bridge will be reduced to 30 mph.
Planned construction activities are weather dependent and may be re-scheduled in the event of inclement weather. For more information regarding the Florida Department of Transportation District Three, follow us on twitter at @myfdot_nwfl.
