BerrydaleFireDeptOpenHouseThe Berrydale Volunteer Fire Department invites the public to help celebrate 40 years of service by attending their open house Saturday, Sept. 27, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the station, 13000 Hwy. 87 North in Jay. The free community event includes lunch, tours of the facilities, Lifeguard1, trucks and other displays. Bring the entire family for a fun-filled day and support our volunteer firefighters.

Established in October 1974 with Holley Phillips as chief, the fire department had only one truck. Since 1974, Berrydale Volunteer Fire Department has responded to thousands of calls in our community and now has 12 volunteer firefighters, a tanker, pumper and rescue truck.
