Teens on being Free

Freedom is everything to me,

to practice what I believe,

to vote and do as I please.

Dakaila Johnson – student

To me, freedom means

to start a better and or new life

for my family and myself,

to pick my own career path,

to do whatever I want to do.

Sam Davis – student

Freedom is the ability

to do whatever I want

or don’t want to do,

and to say or think

what I want.

Without freedom,

we would still have

the draft and unfair laws.

Kelvin Douglas Flint – student

Freedom to me is all

being treated equal,

to have the same chance

be it to speak, dance

or do finance.

Trendi Lewis – student
